Exhibit includes the "Heirlooms in the Sand" Collection found in the desert.
OPENING PARTY - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3 - 6:00PM-10:00 featuring the musicians from "Mercy on the Migrant Trail".
Partial proceeds from "the Heart's path" benefit Humane Borders, the Samaritans of Tucson, Sahuarita and Green Valley, No More Deaths, Border Links, Derechos Humanos, Micro-loans for family businesses south of the border, and Border Arts Development.

The next Sonora Progressives meeting will be on Wednesday, November 28, 2007, at 7:00 p.m.
The meeting location is the Sam Lena Branch of Pima County Public Library 1607 S. 6th Ave.(at 29th St.).
Supervisor Ray Carroll will discuss the current situation of the Rosemont Mine, currently being planned to start operations in the majestic Santa Rita Mountains. Ray Carroll has been one of the leading advocates against this operation. If you consider yourself an environmentalist, this is one of our biggest issues that we will face when it comes to regional environmental exploitation. If you are an advocate about the lack of political conviction on water policy, this is a meeting that you should not miss considering how much water is needed to have a mining operation like this.
All interested people are invited to attend this meeting.
