-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In Tucson, the  "Liberal Drinkers" group meets every Thursday at  The Shanty Cafe  from 6:00-9:00pm.  It has become a meeting place for attorneys, politicians,  and political junkies who enjoy spirited discussion.   An off-shoot of the group called the "Liberal Readers" meets monthly.  We heard about  Liberal Drinkers from a friend who attends the Lively Liberal Lunchers.     The Shanty Cafe is at 401 East 9th Street,  Tucson, and their phone is 623-2664. All are welcome.  Sounds like you can eat as well as drink.  Do drive safely and have a designated driver if you drink.  One drink can impair your functioning more than you think.

The Veterans Forum is discontinued for the summer.
