ELECTION INTEGRITY

Page history last edited by june wortman 1 yr ago

Pima country delusional defense has become weirder!

Attached is the Board of Supervisor's motion for a "protective order and

for sanctions", and the Democratic Party's response to that motion.

The issues in these documents matter on a national scale.

Judge Miller ordered the Board of Supervisors to give the Democratic Party

some data files but not all of them.  He said the party could come back to

court and request all of them after it had "the opportunity to study the MDB files

for the 2006 elections and to address the current (and future security concerns

raised by Pima County...".  A hearing has been scheduled for April 21 on that

issue.  In preparation for the hearing the Democratic Party requested the county

to produce a witness of their choosing to address "all current and future

security concerns of the defendant concerning the release of all the remaining

post-election data files now stored in the superior Court Clerk's vault."  In other

words the Democratic Party paraphrased the court's own wording of the issue to be

decided.

As we see it, a big issue is that the county’s position on the security issues with

these files as stated by John Moffett at a Board of Supes meeting differs radically

from how the judge understands the same security issues per his last written

decision.  That’s exactly what we need to clarify via a deposition, to bring the

judge’s understanding at least in line with that of Moffatt and the Pima Board

of Supes.

The Board of Supervisors is so outraged that the Democratic Party would ask

them to explain their concerns that they want Judge Miller to punish the party

for what the Board claims is "unreasonable, groundless, abusive, or obstructionist

conduct" in requesting their reasons.  They suggest that the Democratic Party

should "at least" pay the county's attorney fees and perhaps "also to assess

double damages" against their attorney Bill Risner as "an attorney in a civil

action who engages in abuse of discovery."

Thank you and Jim March and I hope to see you at the hearing at 1:30 PM

6th floor Superior Court Judge Miller court room.

Hope, peace and democracy,

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

DEMOCRACY DEPENDS ON WHAT WE THE PEOPLE DO!

Joseph Stalin said, “Those who cast the votes DECIDE NOTHING. Those who count the votes DECIDE EVERYTHING.”

I’ve learned, after three years of investigating Pima County Government, that it's NOT JUST voting that makes democracy, it's TRANSPARENCY IN COUNTING VOTES.

Fact: County Manger Chuck Huckelberry has known about the back door to our voting system since 1996. That's when Huckleberry authorized Bryan Crane to use that “backdoor” to merge two databases.  What Crane did wasn’t in the manuals. In 1996 Pima County used punch cards at precincts and vote by mail ballots were counted on optical scanners from Global (that later became Diebold in 2002).

Fact: Since then, Huckelberry's Election Department has been ILLEGALLY printing election summary reports of early ballots (WHO'S WINNING AND LOSING) way before Election Day. See short Mini clip of Testimony of Bryan Crane about the RTA: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7304338799617243809

Attorneys for the Board of Supervisors requested a stay to Judge Miller’s Decision releasing public records that may prove election fraud.  Pima County's plan is clear: (1) tie it up in court; (2) get past the November 08 elections; (3) get Huckelberry's Supervisors re-elected for four more years; and (4), hope citizens are still living in the United States of Amnesia.

Our Founding Fathers stated that “ETERNAL VIGILANCE” is the price of liberty.  Benjamin Franklin said, (What) “good men (and women) may do separately is small compared with what they may do collectively.”

And here is what, collectively,We the People” can do! Get informed.  Be the media.  Tell your friends and neighbors.  We need as many patriots as possible to come to the Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday, January 8 at 9am and stand up for election integrity. Let's tell the Board to comply with the judge's orders and protect our vote!

From NY Times article Published: January 6, 2008 “Can You Count On These Machines?” By Clive Thompson: “One might expect computer scientists to be fans of computer-based vote-counting devices, but it turns out that the more you know about computers; the more likely you are to be terrified that they’re running elections.”

Tuesday morning we will present affidavits and letters from renowned computer scientists and election integrity activists stating that releasing these databases cannot harm national security as Chuck Huckelberry and his lawyers claim.

Casting secret ballots is essential in our democracy.  Counting them in secret is contrary to everything our Founding Fathers fought for.

There are some 800 databases going back to May of 1998.  Making them public could prove our votes were counted accurately.  If there is no problem, what is Pima County afraid of?  Could these databases and audit logs prove the County committed election fraud?

The Board of Supervisors will meet at the Pima County Administration Building at 130 W. Congress Street in the First Floor Meeting Room.

Election Integrity is NOT about the RIGHT or LEFT.  It’s about right, wrong, greed, and corruption.  Vigilant Patriots, practicing the rights of citizenship in a democracy with civility, can make a difference.  Join us at the Pima County Board of Supervisor's meeting on January 8 and help make history.  Not just for our County but for our Country!
